Indications
Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor used for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, NSAID-associated gastric ulcers and other acid-related gastrointestinal disorders. It may also be prescribed as part of combination therapy for Helicobacter pylori eradication.
