Indications
Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor used for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), reflux esophagitis, NSAID-associated gastric ulcers and other acid-related gastrointestinal conditions. It may also be prescribed as part of combination treatment for Helicobacter pylori infection.
